Roddy Ricch Announces Release Date for 'Live Life Fast'

by Jack Shapiro

Roddy Ricch announced the official December 17th release date for his sophomore album ‘Live Life Fast’ on his twitter last Thursday. The California rapper new album is a follow-up to his 2019 debut album Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial.

He hasn’t been quiet though since the release of the last project, with a number of hit features in the past two years. He’s really blossomed into a future star in hip-hop. From a feature on the #1 smash hit “Rockstar” with DaBaby to an inclusion on Kanye West’s DONDA album, he’s been everywhere.

But, his solo songs have been the most telling of where this new record will be heading. After a Grammy performance in early 2021, he released “Heartless (Live From LA)” shortly. And then another single “Late Night” over the summer. Both of these tracks somewhat strayed away from the sound were used to from him. They featured more singing. Trap drums were replaced with more traditional hip-hop sounds.

It’s clear he’s in it for the long haul. He said in an interview with Complex Magazine that he’s focused on making timeless music. This album is shaping up to be something special. Check out the intro/trailer for the album’s release below!

Have a good one!
