Yeat Announces Album '2Alivë' Drops Friday

by Jack Shapiro

Rising rapper Yeat announced today his new album 2Alivë is dropping this Friday, February 18th.

He’s one of the hottest names in the underground right now, receiving co-signs from everyone from names like Drake and Young Thug (who’s going to be on the album). He’s also coming off the release of the album’s lead single “Still Countin”, which got a Lyrical Lemonade video, as well as a feature on Kayo’s song “YEET”.

Yeat also isn’t too far removed from his previous album Up 2 Më, which dropped just a bit five months ago.

If you’re unfamiliar with Yeat, the 21-year-old Portland rapper is bringing his own take to trap music. It’s a strong take on the “rage rap” scene right now. This very well may be his breakout album, especially having recently signed to Zack Bia’s Field Trip Records. His gruff vocal tones and catchy background melodies definitely stand out And he’s got a unique ear for beats.

Either way, check out the tracklist and cover below:

Have a good one!
